Removing Acrylic Nails Safely
Acetone Removal Method
To safely remove acrylic nails using acetone, follow these steps:
Materials:
- Pure acetone
- Cotton balls
- Aluminum foil
Steps:
- File the top layer of the acrylic nails to create a rough surface.
- Soak cotton balls in pure acetone and place them on top of the acrylic nails.
- Wrap each nail securely in aluminum foil to keep the cotton balls in place.
- Wait for 15-20 minutes or until the acrylic nails start to soften and lift away from the natural nails.
- Gently use an orange stick or cuticle pusher to remove the softened acrylic nails.
- Wash your hands and nails thoroughly with soap and water.
Note: Acetone is a strong solvent, so it's important to use it in a well-ventilated area and avoid contact with your skin.
